That's terrible. I only saw him here in London a few weeks ago in London at Ronnie Scott's club. He was playing with Joe Locke's group 'Four walls of Freedom' with Novak on drums and James Genus on acoustic bass.
After hey had finished their week at the club they where going back to NY to record an album. Watch out for that I'm sure it will be released soon. It's bound to be great!

Bummer to hear about Bob Berg. I saw him live with Chick, Gary Novak, and James Genus a few years back.
Just wanted to share a quick thought with everyone:
I checked out his website, and I got a kick out of the fact that he only needed about 10 lines to describe ALL of his equipment, including mouthpieces, reeds, and microphones. It seems drummers can write a couple of pages on their equipment!
